Revision 27 of this test case created

Info

Fastest way get a jQuery object of a DOM element of which I have the ID. document.getElementById has the advantage of not requiring escaping for special characters.

Preparation code

<div class="class">Some HTML element</div>
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script>
